And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some Pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ till we all come to the unity of the faith, and the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ that we should no longer be children tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of the deceitful plotting but speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head -Christ- from the whole body joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.

The Leander Church of God while being headed by the One and Only Jesus Christ is put forth under the direction of Bishop Mark and Rosa Shelnutt. The Bishop and his wife are two God fearing children of the most high who have chosen to put their lifes work into the building up and edifying of the Kingdom of God as our wonderful Pastors. Together with them are Associate Pastor Rachel Odom, Reverend Jeff Odom, Our Youth Team as well as childrens church leaders who all have been appointed under the direction of the Holy Spirit to lead in other areas of the church. As a unit they bring forth Godly ministry and worship to the chuch as a whole as well as guidance for our younger generation.
